Create Opportunities

Each year, APPLE Schools brings together School Health Champions (SHC) and School Health Facilitators (SHF) at various knowledge exchange (KE) events to re-connect, re-energize, and learn the latest in health promotion.

These individuals play an important role in bridging the APPLE Schools project to their school communities – they engage students, teachers, and parents in reimagining a healthy school, and building their ideal community! They also ensure staff and students are empowered with the tools and knowledge needed to centre students’ well-being to achieve success.

These educators walk out of every event feeling ready to invigorate staff and students about fresh strategies to build a healthy school community. The end result? Students will eat better, move more, and feel happier.

In addition to our educator KE events, sponsorship opportunities exist for future types of APPLE Schools events as they are planned.
